This series offers a selection of germanium lenses and incorporates an advanced thermal sensor with a 256×192 resolution, 12-micron pixel technology and an impressive sub-35 mK thermal sensitivity. Built on feedback from users of the original Taipan monoculars, the V2 series introduces significant improvements, including a removable and rechargeable 18650 battery, an upgraded thermal sensor, and an intelligent 90-degree tilt sensor that automatically turns off the display to optimize battery life. Loaded with cutting-edge software enhancements, the AGM Taipan V2 256 Thermal Monocular retains essential features found across the AGM product line: an F1.0 aperture, a 50Hz refresh rate, 16 GB of internal storage, Wi-Fi compatibility for seamless integration with the AGM Connect App, an IP67 waterproof rating, USB Type-C support for external power, and four distinct color palettes. Additionally, a wider rubber eyepiece has been designed for enhanced comfort when viewing the 1280×960 LCOS display, making it ideal for extended use in the field.
